Situation

How can I find out what DNS servers are being used on my server?

Resolution


You can find out what DNS servers are set on the server by doing the following:
For Linux:
1) From a prompt (such as putty) type: cat /etc/resolv.conf


For Windows:
2) From a command prompt type: ipconfig /all
