Environment

GWAVA 4, 5, and 6 build 24 and older on Linux (Includes SMTP appliance)

Situation

How can I manually start ctasd to troubleshoot it not starting properly?

Resolution



To manually start ctasd do the following steps at a Linux command line:

1) cd /opt/beginfinite/gwava/services/spamsig/linux/sig

2) run # ./ctasd -c ../../conf/spamsig.conf

Note: ctasd was incorporated into the GWAVA scan engine in GWAVA 6 build 25.
