How to Stop DOCX Files Being Blocked for ZIP Fingerprinting

GWAVA4 and Higher

Situation

When an email comes in that has a .docx file attachment it is being blocked for .zip fingerprinting.

Resolution



1) Create a Message source exception called: name=*.docx.

2) Expand the exception name=*.docx and expand Fingerprinting.

3) Put a check mark in ZIP Compressed File (.zip) and save the changes.


The .docx file attachments will no longer be blocked for .zip fingerprinting.
