Post Email recipient number control
I was at a Groupwise 7 roll out conference over a year ago. I remember GWAVA was there and discussed the product called Redline. I am not sure if I am correct or not, but I seem to remember it had controls over the volume of mail sent from users. In other words, the Groupwise admin could use Redline to stop users from sending thousands of messages in the middle of the work day. This contol could be within the Groupwise system or with internet mail. We are looking to prevent or delay the delivery of mail -- either internet mail or mail within the Groupwise system.
Is this something redline does or can we use another product to perform this task. Thanks.

I can imagine, that Redline can alert you, but I´m sure, that can´t stop users of sending Internet email.

Redline does not have the ability to stop messages in transit. It is designed as a GW monitoring solution. Other email filtering options like GWAVA can block the message, but there is nothing that can actually stop them from being created.
