Post Recovering from dictionary corruption
If you have been one of those unlucky enough to get corrupted dictionaries, here are the steps to get your antispam system back to a healthy state.

1) Ensure gwava is up to date. The current update has the principal cause of these corruption issues solved

2) Unload all of the gwava modules

3) Locate the gwava asengine directory within [gwavaroot]/services/asengine/configs/{engine id}

4) Take an appropriate back zip from {engine id}/backup and extract it into the {engine id} directory
If you know when the dictionaries became corrupt, use a backup from the previous day.
If you do not know when the dictionaries became corrupt, the simplest thing to do is to recover from the oldest backup - you won't lose much training from this.
If you don't know but want the latest, you'll need to repeat this process with each backup set until asengine no longer displays that the dictionaries are corrupt.

5) Start gwava back up. Check the asengine log screen at startup to ensure it says that it's config was loaded.

Your system should now continue to function normally and resume its automatic training procedures without corrupting the dictionaries.
