Post A more "Intuitive" Scheduling mechanism.
How about combining the standard and advanced scheduling interfaces? Or, at least, have the ability to see and access your current scheme in one window. I do like the fact that there are many combinations available, but when I plan a schedule, I have to access multiple places. It is just easy to miss something that you may have temporarily set during a test sequence.

Also, it might help to make another scheduling option for all three major jobs (Portable, Tar, and expire) that allows you to choose the last Friday of the month. I know, in my earlier post in "General Questions", I was able to figure something out, but it would be nice to have this option already available for each function... The formula I have come up with still lends itself to Portable backups being performed in the middle of the week.

BTW, will be be seeing the new version any time before BS2007?

(PS: Thank you for creating this product... It has already saved me a ton of time in doing both backups and restores!)

To answer your question about a new release, it's right around the corner.

About the scheduling though, I didn't really improve on it in this release. However, you could consider just forgoing the scheduling and just using the crontab file, this way everything can be in one file and easy to see.

I do take enhancement request seriously, and will consider how to do this for the future.

Best Regards

Hello

Please take a look at Reload 4. The scheduling is totally different in the web interface.

You can see at:

Reload 4 has a much nicer user interface. This has made more user friendly. In regards to the scheduling, it seems much easier as well.
