Post Why reloadh?
Hi,
I installed RELOAD as S/C (Server / Collector, as it is described in kb doc 2675) after this I have a cron job at the cluster nodes which starts each minute '/usr/sbin/reloadh' as I informed right this script checks if 'reloadd' ist running and starts this daemon if it is not running. But reloadd is not added via insserv or chkconfig to the init-scripts. Why this? (all the recommendations I read say "under no circumstances don't use a script to ensure that your process is running every time")
Maybe it is better to add reloadd to the cluster resource scripts? Does this Daemon only shows the webfrontend and has to be reloaded to read new configs?

I think the best way for clustered environment is to put the RELOAD configuration files at the cluster resources.

It's an optional script. It is not necessary. You are welcome to disable it. Generally the Reload daemon will run without any difficulty, the script is an extra precaution.
