Post Installing workers in a new installation?
I can't see the option to create new workers.

I'm trying to do a single server, basic install of Retain in a lab on a single VM. I ran the installer and put everything except the stubbing server on my Windows 2012 server.

I got through the startup and am able to log into the RetainServer interface. I am trying to import a PST (because I think that is the easiest way to get data into the system without setting up a full Exchange server in the lab). To do that, I need a worker.

When I log into the RetainWorker screen, it asks me to upload a bootstrap file.

The KB articles tell me to go to the "workers" section on the left and "create new", but I don't have that in my interface. I have attached a screenshot.

I think the next step is to create a worker in the RetainServer, but I don't see how to do that with nothing under the Data Collection tab.

For anyone with the same problem, once I configured a module, the worker screen showed up.

The easiest one to configure was the CellTrust module. I just gave it a server name and said the log files would be in c:\temp.

Then I could add workers.

That's exactly what I was going to suggest. Good job!
