Post What happens when my retain (v3) licence expires
Hello,

I would like to know what will happen to RETAIN, once my licence expires?

Will my users still have access to their archives (limited view mode via browser or something of that kind) or will the Database be completely blocked/locked even for read access only?
Could you please give me all the facts?

Regards

It looks like an email response was already sent to you. Here it is again, in case you didn't receive it:

Retain is split into different license types, the base license and the module license (e.g GroupWise or Exchange).

If only the module license expires Retain will stop archiving new mails from the mail system.
The users would still be able to fully access their archives in Retain.

However if also the base licenses expires, access to Retain and the archived data, also as the admin, will not be possible anymore, until a valid license is installed.

I hope this already answers your question.
If you have any further questions, I would recommend to get in touch with my colleagues in sales, who can give you more details about licensing.
